Seoul has completed the introduction of a “digital attendance tracking system” for all logistics facilities registered in Seoul (a total of 53), including logistics centers and warehouses. Employees who work at logistics facilities must have their attendance checked using a QR code before they start working. The logistics centers are now checking the symptoms of their employees more than once a day and disinfecting shared items like work uniforms and shoes at least once a day. All employees must wear a mask while working. Since June 22 (Mon.), managers of the SMG and logistics companies have been posting on social media to share the self-monitoring results of disinfection in the facilities and the current state of sterilization and disinfection of each facility every day. Additionally, everyone who enters the facilities must fill out a self-monitoring questionnaire. Regular checks and spot checks will be conducted as well to find out whether the logistics facilities are following the rules properly. ※ Self-monitoring Questionnaire

According to the SMG’s plan, any logistics facility that fails to abide by the disinfection and prevention rules once will receive an order of rectification and those that fail to abide by the disinfection and prevention rules more than twice will face a fine of up to KRW 3 million and an order banning gatherings.
